I wanted to write and thank Radford Doors for the great service provided on the installation of our new garage door.
Radford Doors came recommended from a co-worker who had recently had her garage door serviced by the Radford team.
The Radford representative was on time and a pleasure to interact with. The door was several hundred dollars cheaper than competitive estimates for a similar (if not exact) product. The price was right! Also, they came out two days later whereas the competition quoted me a somewhat convoluted process.
The installation was flawless! The technician is experienced and efficient. He was in and out within the quoted amount of time as there were no complications. He installed and cleaned up and left behind a great looking product. I know it is "just" a garage door, but we have waited quite a while for the door and finally purchasing it and having it be such a painless process just made it that much better.

Fred, Just wanted to let you know the door was installed today on schedule.  The guys did an amazing job.  Rather than notching the studs, they cut a tiny saw line where the rail goes and it fits in like a glove.  Thank you so much for taking the time to make numerous site visits and being willing to work with my quirky project.  I know that this door was not standard.  Other companies said is simply couldn’t be done.  You not only did it, but it looks awesome.  The door itself is beautiful, the motor is unbelievably quiet and my neighbors are all drooling over the sleek little clicker.  I am thrilled with the quality and service (Valerie is a hoot), not to mention your price was well below the quote I got from the membership big box store!  Amazing.

My new door was installed on Monday the 29th. I should have taken this step 20 years ago, the difference is that great. The best part was experiencing the craftsmanship of the technician. His skill prompted me to ask ”how many doors have you installed?” He thought for a minute and said “3500” That can explain why his work is of so high quality. I have never witnessed a more conscientious worker.  When he left, my garage was cleaner than when he arrived and I have a perfectly installed door.  Not expected and most appreciated.

Radford's management is top notch. We had a less than satisfactory service call with a Radford technician that left us disappointed. I wrote of our experience and was quickly contacted by Radford management to discuss. The Radford representative met at our home to discuss further and inspect what had been done. Radford was extremely apologetic for our experience and it was obvious throughout the conversation that Radford has very high standards that he felt were not met. Radford went above and beyond to try to rectify our experience, and they succeeded. After this set of events I have no doubt that Radford is an excellent company and would trust them to work on our home again, and that the work done would be excellent.

I did my research, like everybody else, for new garage doors and called three companies to come out, measure and give me a quote. Two of the companies sent people who in less than ten minutes, measured, wrote a few notes and called me days later with pricing. RADFORD's estimator came out and measured. (Good first impression -- and it didn't stop there!) Fred was very precise with each calculation -- measuring each existing opening across/up/down/sideways, etc. -- and made copious notes. He asked questions. I asked questions. He took his time with me. Jennifer faxed me a quote later that day. I had a few questions -- the owner again talked with me. This initial encounter with the company gave me such a good feeling. I scheduled the installation. The crew showed up on that scheduled day -- another nice surprise! They were very experienced, efficient and did a beautiful job! To summarize, you get it all with RADFORD -- Professionalism. Experience. Integrity. This is a company I love to refer and have many times.

No words can describe the happiness we have with our new garage door. It improved the appearance of our house 100 %. I believe the name of the installer is Carlos. I was really surprised when he showed up alone to install the door. He did a fantastic job.  Dear Sir or Madam,
I wanted to write this letter of apperception to thank you for your outstanding service in installing my new overhead garage door. The single piece wooden door that was replaced was the original door installed my home 37 years ago!
The original door has never worked properly and I have had five other garage door repair firms repair and maintain the door over the years-but none have been able to completely fix the door. When your ace team of Justin and Russell arrived, they were able to fix ALL the mechanical problems with the door for the first time in history. The only thing they couldn’t correct was that the door was getting severely warped. It was at that point that I decided to replace the door under the capable and expert hands of Justin and Russell for installation.
The installation was performed on 19 May in a completely professional manner. Justin and Russell arrived exactly on time and exceeded my expectations during the installation process. I actually had a 2x4 wooden storage brace that was in the way of the installation that I said could be removed. Instead of removing it, they cut the 2x4 and reinstalled the bracket so that I would not lose my storage brace! The installation was performed in less then two-and-a-half hours with great precision. I was very pleased and surprised to see how tight the seal are around the garage door giving it excellent insulation and security. The door opens and closes very smoothly and quietly on the new rails. Cleanup after the job was spotless and they removed my old door and hardware.
Thank you again for the excellent service in installing my new garage door. I know I’ll be happy with it for years to come and if I do need follow on service, I’ll be calling you again.

The Radford Doors experience was outstanding.
It started with Fred, the Sales Person that came to my house and took the time to show me and my wife different door styles and colors, not from the catalog, but actual small Door samples. Fred was very patient as we made the selection, and unlike other Garage Door companies that suggested moving the wall mounted cabinets, Fred suggested using higher rails that go over the cabinets. The price was a lot more competitive than the large department store, and more competitive than the company that is always advertising on the radio. The 2 installers were very experienced and knowledgeable, and the door replacement experience was very smooth, and the door looks great.
My overall rating is OUTSTANDING. I will definitely recommend Radford Doors to my friends.

There are many garage door companies in San Diego but none like Radford Overhead Doors when it comes to personal service, competitive pricing and exceeding expectations.  We have been so pleased with our Clopay Grand Harbor door and we have already referred several the people to Radford.  We have had neighbors actually stop while walking their dogs just to ask about our Clopay garage door.  Everyone is impressed in how it looks, the opaque glass and how quietly the Chamberlain Liftmaster Jackshaft opener operates.  When I show people the side mount and how easily it is to use the space in our rafters with the absence of a center mounted opener and track people are speechless...perhaps even a little envious.
